Client: Maryland School for the Blind
A 501 (c) 3 non-profit, The Maryland School for the Blind provides outreach, educational and residential services for approximately 1,200 students identified as blind or visually impaired throughout all twenty-four Maryland jurisdictions so they may reach their fullest potential.
Goal: Seeing Beyond
The Maryland School for the Blind has a long history of educating and empowering blind and visually impaired youth. Unfortunately, the name itself belies the true scope of the school’s impact on its students and their families and helps perpetuate the misperception of a much narrower focus.
The See Beyond campaign challenges this notion by creating a new narrative that features not only the on-campus curricular, co-curricular, and life-skills offerings for students but also highlights the school’s outreach services and programs that enrich children and youth throughout the entire state.
Utilizing the latest in ADA-compliant technology, the See Beyond campaign is best represented through MSB’s new website.
